                   <ol><li>Limpiar el \u00e1rea de la herida.<\/li><li>Evaluar la herida y seleccionar el tama\u00f1o del ap\u00f3sito para que el adhesivo hidrocoloide se extienda 2,5 cm (1 pulgada) m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del borde de la herida.<\/li><li>Abrir la bolsa y manipular el ap\u00f3sito con guantes \/pinzas.<\/li><li>Retirar el revestimiento protector del ap\u00f3sito.<\/li><li>Centrar el ap\u00f3sito sobre la herida y el \u00e1rea que la rodea, a continuaci\u00f3n, presionar suavemente el lado adhesivo del ap\u00f3sito.<\/li><li>Debe tenerse cuidado de evitar estirar el ap\u00f3sito en exceso, lo cual puede provocar un traumatismo mec\u00e1nico en la herida y en la piel circundante.<\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Retrrada del ap\u00f3sito:<\/strong><\/p><ol><li>Levantar con cuidado los bordes del ap\u00f3sito (o el borde de la pel\u00edcula) mientras se presiona la piel hacia abajo<\/li><li>Continuar levantando los bordes hasta que todos est\u00e9n separados de la superficie de la
