AluBurn is placed centrally on an adhesive substrate e.g. nonwoven substrate, polyurethane film or PU film laminated to nonwoven backing material that extends beyond the border of the pad to allow fixation without secondary dressing. AluBurn Adhesive Film Frame Style: The same as AluBurn Adhesive Film but equipped with frame delivery system for easy application.

•  Aluminized polyethylene net:
  – Acts as a non-adherent layer, so it does not stick to the newly formed tissue.
  – Permeable, it allows free passage of wound exudate preventing skin maceration.
• Hydrophilic absorbent fleece.
• Soft and conformable.
• permeable to air/water vapor

– Burn and chemical burn.
– Used for wounds caused by skin grafting.
– Abrasion and minor cuts.
– In first aid and for emergency use.
– Can be used post-operatively to protect surgical wounds and incisions.
– Used for catheter, cannulas and tracheal cannulas for tracheostomies fixations.

There are no absolute contraindications to the use of the products, but don’t use on patients with known sensitivity to the product or any of its components.

– Reuse of the product may cause risk of infection or cross-contamination.
– The dressing should not be used with highly exuding wounds as it may cause tissue maceration.
– The skin should be clear and dry before application to ensure good adhesion.
– Dispose as contaminated waste.
