Fibrosol® IV Film Polyurethane film coated with pressure sensitive adhesive having U shaped slit. Fibrosol® pad is made of 100% CMC fibers, that are carded to form a nonwoven, reinforced with yarns used to stitch bond the product for support is placed centrally on an adhesive substrate with U shape slit to allow easy fixation of the catheter and cannula.
Fibrosol® Extra IV Film Polyurethane film coated with pressure sensitive adhesive having U shaped slit. Fibrosol® Extra pad is made of 100% CMC fibers, that are carded with yarn forming a double layered nonwoven stitched together to give high strength and more integrity during dressing removal , is placed centrally on an adhesive substrate with U shape slit to allow easy fixation of the catheter and cannula.

Fibrosol IV Film and Fibrosol Extra IV Film are used for catheter and cannula fixation and stop bleeding.
- Fibrosol® dressings should not be used on people who are allergic to the dressing or any of its components.
- Fibrosol® is not intended for use within internal body cavities.
- If infection develops during the use of the dressing, clinically indicated antibiotic therapy should be initiated.
- Control of blood glucose should be monitored for diabetic foot ulcers.
- Delicate newly formed blood vessels could produce blood stained wound fluid.
- Sterility is guaranteed unless pouch is damaged.
1. Open the pouch using aseptic technique. In case of Fibrosol® IV Film or Fibrosol® Extra IV Film , hold the dressing at either side of the
wave cut and stretch the support paper a little to loosen the wave cut.
2. Remove the flaps to expose the adhesive surface.
3. Place the dressing on the injection site. Remove the lower flaps (If present).
4. In case of Fibrosol® IV Film or Fibrosol® Extra IV Film , slowly remove the upper support paper while smoothing down the transparent
film dressing edges.
