Pharmapore ® PU eXsorb® An easy-to-use, ultra-conformable post-operative dressing featuring:
• A highly absorbent wound pad that transforms into a soft hydrophilic gel upon absorbing exudates, effectively trapping bacteria and harmful proteases. This reduces the risk of infection and maceration while ensuring optimal retention.
• A gentle, self-adhering perforated silicone layer that conforms to the skin without adhering to the moist wound, allowing exudates to pass through smoothly.
• Reduces the risk of blistering.
• Minimizes discomfort and trauma during dressing changes by adhering only to dry skin, rather than the moist wound bed.
• Effectively seals wound edges, reducing the risk of maceration.
• Lowers the likelihood of sutures and staples sticking to the dressing.
• Reduces the chance of skin stripping and damage.
• Features high absorption capacity, requiring fewer dressing changes.
• Offers high flexibility for superior comfort and conformability.
• Can be lifted and repositioned without losing adhesive properties.
• Includes wide transparent borders for easy inspection of the wound area.
• Provides a reliable barrier against bacteria and viruses.
• Leaves minimal to no residue, with low potential for skin irritation or allergies.
• Waterproof and shower-friendly.
For acute wounds, such as surgical wounds, lacerations, cuts, abrasions and minor burns.
• Do not use on Eyes, mucous membranes or tendons, due to the risk of dehydration.
• Do not use on any cavity or sinuses, as the dressing will swell on absorption.
• Do not use on dry/low exuding wounds, as the absorption capacity may cause sticking to the wound or cause the wound to dry out and become painful.
• Do not use on patients with a known allergy to any acrylic substance.
• Do not use as a surgical sponge or to achieve haemostasis in heavily bleeding wounds.
• Do not use on an infected wounds unless under medical supervision.
• If signs of clinical infection appear, consult a healthcare professional for appropriate infection treatment.

clinical practice.
• Inspect the dressing and the surrounding skin daily.
• Keep the dressing in place unless there is a clinical need to change it.
• Remove the dressing if:
– Exudates leak from the dressing or out into the borders.
– The absorbent pad is fully saturated (three out of four corners).
– There are any signs of infection.
• Effectively absorbs and retains exudates.
• The silicone adhesive minimizes pain and reduces damage to the wound and peri-wound skin during dressing removal.
• The interface securely seals the wound edges, preventing exudate leakage onto surrounding skin and reducing the risk of maceration.
1. Cleanse the wound in accordance with normal procedures then open the pouch.
2. Remove the flaps to expose the adhesive surface.
