Protectfilm® is a transparent protective wound dressing that consists of thin bacteria-proof, virus-proof and waterproof polyurethane film coated with hypoallergenic adhesive.

Protectfilm® Adhesive border is a highly breathable transparent protective polyurethane film with adhesive border and adhesive free central area which prevents undesired adhesion with the wound bed and allows removal of the dressing without pain or trauma.

Maintains the undisturbed state of the wound.
Very easy to apply.
Transparent film allows healing process to be observed without removing the dressing.
Patient can shower without risk.
Protectfilm® allows wounds to breathe and water vapour to escape protecting skin against maceration where dressing can be left in place for 5 days minimizing interference at wound site.

• As a primary dressing, it’s intended to cover and protect dry or slightly exuding wounds such as: abrasions, lacerations and areas of friction.
• As a secondary dressing, it’s used as a fixation device, to secure catheter sites and to cover other primary dressings like alginates, hydrogels and foams.

• Sterility of the dressing is guaranteed unless the pouch is damaged or opened prior to use.
• For single use only .Re-using may cause cross contamination.
• Should not be used after expiry date.
• Should not be used on patients with sensitivity to acrylic adhesive.
• Should not be used on infected or bleeding wounds unless under medical supervision.
• Repeated application may cause skin damage to patient with thin or fragile skin.
