Open the pouch using aseptic technique and remove the central window.<br \/>2. In case of securing a cannula, take off the fixation strips and secure the wings of the cannula on either side.<br \/>3. Peel off the larger flap to expose the adhesive surface, then gently center the transparent area of the<br \/>dressing over the insertion site, so that the U shaped slit secures the catheter or the cannula, and the<br \/>other side of the dressing covers the plastic arm of the cannula\/catheter.<br \/>4. Remove the smaller flap while applying the dressing and then slowly remove the paper frame while soothing down the edges.<br \/>5. In case of securing a catheter, remove the fixation strips from the release liner and place it on the<br \/>dressing or on the catheter, according to facility protocol.<br \/>6.
