Pharmapore® eXsorb Carbon : is Island dressing made of  superabsorbent hydrocapillary pad with carbon felt laminated to a low-adherent wound contact layer that allows the passage of the exudates to the pad, and having an adhesive border. Upon absorption of exudates, the dressing forms a soft hydrophilic gel that locks away bacteria and harmful proteases, reducing risk of infection and maceration. the pad placed centrally on a non-woven backing material for patients with sensitive skin.

2. Conformable and Soft: It conforms to wound contours due to Gel formation which prevents adherence of the dressing to the newly formed tissues

4. Reduction of Bioburden: as it locks away bacteria and harmful proteases which promotes healing.
5. Suitable for use under compression.

Carbon ošetřování páchnoucích akutních nebo chronických ran.

• Nepoužívejte na oči, sliznice nebo šlachy, protože hrozí riziko dehydratace.
• Nepoužívejte na žádné dutiny nebo siny, protože krytí absorpcí nabobtná.
• Nepoužívejte na suché / málo exsudující rány, protože absorpční kapacita může způsobit přilepení k ráně nebo způsobit vysychání rány a bolestivost.
• Nepoužívejte pro pacienty se známou alergií na jakékoli akrylátové látky.
• Nepoužívejte jako chirurgickou houbu nebo k dosažení hemostázy u silně krvácejících poranění.
• Nepoužívejte na infikované rány, pokud nejsou pod lékařským dohledem.

Po absorpci exsudátů vytvoří krytí měkký hydrofilní gel, který uzavře bakterie a škodlivé proteázy a omezuje riziko infekce a macerace.
