ESPUMA® Gentle Ag Comfort: is absorbent, antimicrobial polyurethane foam laminated to perforated soft
silicone gel wound contact layer which extends beyond the perimeter of foam to allow easy fixation without
secondary adhesive dressings and provide atraumatic dressing removal. The outermost layer of the dressing
is polyurethane film which is waterproof, bacteria proof and virus proof.
ESPUMA® Gentle Ag Comfort Lite the same as ESPUMA® Gentle Ag Comfort but with thinner Polyurethane
foam layer.

• Gentle soft Silicone gel allows atraumatic dressing removal.
• Perforated silicone layer, allow free passage of wound exudate to the foam so prevents skin maceration.
• High absorption capacity polyurethane foam also provides a cushioning effect.

ESPUMA® Gentle Ag Family are suitable for dressing many types of odourless and malodorous from low to highly exuding wounds with high risk of infection, including leg and pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, first and second degree burns, surgical incisions and traumatic wounds resulting in skin loss, also may be used under compression bandaging.

•Do not use ESPUMA® Gentle Ag Family dressings with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide, as these can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing.
•The dressing should not be used on patients with a known sensitivity to this dressing or one of its components

ln case of infection, ESPUMA® Gentle Ag Family can be used but under medical supervision and with antimicrobial conjunctive therapy.

The interval between dressing changes will be normally determined by the degree of exudate produced but the dressing may be left undisturbed for several days on clean lightly exuding wounds.
