A hydrocolloid disc is used in combination with 2-piece bag mechanical coupling

The hydrocolloid disc is comfortable, fexible, and soft disc made of a polymer component
that provides excellent cohesiveness and adherence ensuring optimal fxation for extended
wear-time to guarantee that the ostomy bag is rmly attached to the skin without leaks.

The disc also contains hydrocolloid particles that provide absorption to maintain the skin’s dryness and “normal” state,
through protecting the peri-stomal skin from urine and/or faeces.

A mechanical connection mechanism that has an audible “click” to signal that the bag is securely connected to the hydrocolloid disc, providing extra security for the two-piece bag and a tight it when joining the pouch to the disc.

Before locking the pouch with the hydrocolloid disc, user can rotate it into the appropriate position to suit body’s position—standing, laying down,or emptying.

The mechanical coupling can be moved to accommodate left- or right-handed handling.
