Vilowond® Gauze is a soft, absorbent and air-permeable 100% coon gauze. It’s made of 17 threads per sq.cm gauze complying with the European Pharmacopoeia.
Vilowond Gauze è disponibile come medicazione a 8 strati, in un'ampia varietà di dimensioni, versioni sterili e non sterili.
- Idrofila, fornisce un’azione rapidamente traspirante e un’eccellente capacità di assorbimento.
- Aerazione superiore e rischio ridotto di macerazione.
- Combinazione bilanciata di morbidezza e consistenza abrasiva
- Bordi ripiegati per evitare la perdita e lo sfilacciamento delle fibre.
- Basso rilascio di fibre che riduce il rischio di contaminazione della ferita.
- Può essere sterilizzata.
- Medicazione per ferite da lieve a moderatamente essudanti.
- Delicata pulizia della ferita e protezione.
- Pulizia della pelle prima dell'operazione chirurgica.
- Materiale portante per unguenti.
- Imbottitura tra le dita delle mani e dei piedi.
- Vilowond® Gauze è utilizzata per lo sbrigliamento della ferita grazie alla sua natura abrasiva.
• Do not use in case of sensitivity to cotton, viscose or polyester.
• Do not use on infected wound unless under medical supervision.
• Do not use on highly exuding wounds or on 2nd and 3rd degree burns.
• In case the dressing adhered to the wound, please moisten with saline solution and remove carefully.
• For single use only. Re-using may cause cross contamination.

a. Open the pouch.
b. Remove the product out of the pouch using aseptic technique.
c. Place the Vilowond® Gauze in contact with the wound.
d. Secure the dressing to skin by using appropriate fixation tape.
